Known for "treating filmmakers like rockstars", the AIFF is commited to fostering an intimate celebration of independent film in southern Oregon. Monthly Film Series Continues September 12 |

 | Two special showings of the documentary the NY Times called "altogether enthralling," Man on Wire, will continue the Festival's Monthly Film Series at the Varsity Theatre Friday, September 12 at 6p and 8:20p and will benefit the AIFF.  | The 7th annual ashland independent film festival wrapped after five days of full theatres. 101 of the 130 screenings sold out. 11 filmmakers won juried and audience awards. Helen Hunt received the AIFF Rogue Award and the festival’s Artistic Achievement Award was presented to Albert Maysles. "I have received many honors; none of them have touched me as deeply and soulfully," Maysles said.
