Synopsis
"You should not desire a luxury you do not have. We always say that fortune is when everyone is happy."
  -Tuareg proverb

A universal tale of humans finding their path in life by living in simplicity with nature featuring the Tuareg people of the Sahara desert in Mali. In an experimental, moment to moment manner, experience their mode of life, their relation to the earth and their perception of time.

With very little interview or dialogue, the film captures their element, investigating their music, dance, survival skills, and the rituals they carry to keep their culture and heritage alive. Following the people and their tribal chiefs, healers and seekers, it subtly questions the modern way of life. The Tuareg choose to live in austerity, a truth of extremes that is the poetry of the their life, living in solidarity with the rhythms of nature. [subtitles]

Synopsis
Lost in time, the Himalayan Kingdom of Mustang is one of the last sanctuaries of authentic Tibetan Buddhist culture. Long isolated by geography and politics, the people struggle to survive, and the center of their culture, the fifteenth century monasteries and the brilliant holy murals within, are dangerously close to collapse. This breathtaking film tells the compelling story of the efforts to rescue this ancient place from the brink of extinction and help spark a cultural renaissance.
