Want to see and hear Morgan Spurlock while he is in Ashland?  Don’t miss The Greatest Movie Conversation Ever: with Morgan Spurlock at the Armory on Saturday, April 9, 6–7:30p.

Boundary-pushing Oscar-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me, fX’s 30 Days) explores the world of product placement, marketing and advertising in a film that was fully financed through product placement from various brands, all of which are integrated transparently into the film. While using brands in film promotion is not new for Hollywood, it certainly is new territory for the documentary format. Spurlock exploits the phenomenon to new heights, with everything from branded Amy's Kitchen pizza boxes, to inflight film promotions, to branded-everything. With humor and insight, Spurlock unmasks the marketing process to bring audiences behind closed doors directly into the pitch meetings and marketing presentations which ultimately inform our everyday entertainment decisions. Join Spurlock Saturday, April 9, 6p for The Greatest Movie Conversation Ever: with Morgan Spurlock; and Sunday, April 10, 7:30p for the Awards Celebration where he will receive the AIFF Rogue Award.
