I was inspired to make the film when I encountered the Teen Press team at the Santa Barbara Film Festival where my film Rising From Ashes was premiering. Among the throngs of journalists and paparazzi, I saw a group of 12 and 13 year old kids poised and ready to ask meaningful questions of the stars and filmmakers who walked the red carpet.
