Who is at the heart and soul of the Ashland Independent Film Festival? A fabulous group of over 350 volunteers, that’s who! AIFF volunteers bring out the best of the Rogue Valley and its friendly citizenry by offering energy, experience, expertise, effervescence, and elbow grease to every aspect of festival operations.
We believe in community.
We work hard.
We have fun.
We smile a lot.
You may ask yourself, how do I get in on this extravaganza of esprit de corps?
We ask for at least 12 hours of your time and in return, you’ll get film vouchers, the most coveted tee shirt in town, and a thank you party to end all thank you parties. Plus our undying gratitude; most of all, our undying gratitude.
If 12 hours barely whets your appetite, you can up the ante to 24 hours—with even more film vouchers.
And if you still can’t get enough hours, still more vouchers. We won’t say “uncle” until you do!
Volunteer opportunities exist both year-round and during the 5-day festival in April.
Check out our Volunteer Area Descriptions. Each area offers unique opportunities. We will do our best to fulfill your wishes.
