Synopsis
Michael Zahs is the charismatic film archivist and retired schoolteacher who is the subject of Saving Brinton, screening Saturday 4/14 at 9:30am at the Historic Ashland Armory. Zahs will demonstrate the Magic Lantern, an early precursor to the film projector, and show some of the original slides he uncovered in a farmhouse basement in rural Iowa.
