A small Oregon town (historic Gold Lick), plagued by the Chinese God of War, kidnaps a B-movie actor to help them defeat it. But the "real" Bruce Campbell has no appreciable skills, just plenty of bad habits and a lousy disposition. Festival audience members will be the first in the world see a Sneak Preview of My Name is Bruce. 90 minute feature.
“After working halfway around the world directing my last film, I had an overwhelming desire to bring production closer to home. In this case, it wound up in my own backyard - literally! Between White City and Ashland, we found a studio facility, 80% of our actors, a third of our crew, unique set dressing and building materials, and all the extra-curricular activity a crew demands. I look forward to bringing more productions to Southern Oregon. The more I get to know this area, the more excited I get to utilize the amazing diversity it has to offer.”
