An unconventional acting teacher attempts to push a group of eager young performers out of their comfort zones, while struggling with his own ability to live an authentic and fulfilling life with his teenage son. One night, he watches an old film he made of his son as a child wearing a bunny suit, walking around Toronto offering free hugs to passersby. He challenges his troupe of actors to explore the same sensibility, and when they accept, life opens up for them all. An ensemble cast shows us there can be joy in facing our problems in unusual, even furry, ways.
A visual and aural journey through a phenomenal world of stop-motion animation and time-lapse photography, with animated creatures and ghostly effects, touching on notions of time and space, life and death, genesis and the supernatural.
