REEL to ROGUE – a celebration of film, food and the Festival’s 15th Year!
As we kick off Varsity World Film Week (October 2-8) featuring international cuisine prepared by Larks Catering, delicious wine, live music, fabulous auction items and a guest appearance by the director of Tall as the Baobab Tree, Jeremy Teicher. Jeremy will discuss his film, which was inspired by villagers in Senegal who also act in the film. Tall as the Baobab Tree will be screened during Varsity World Film Week.
Our MC for the night will be Jim Teece, a long-time supporter of the film festival and owner (with wife Dena) of Project A, a custom software development company, and Ashland Home Net, the largest internet service provider in Ashland. Jim has been a part of the AIFF family for almost as long as there has been a film festival. We’re delighted that he’ll be heading up the party!
Tickets are $85 per person and includes an internationally inspired four-course dinner created by Larks Catering (Menu), a complimentary beverage, and an evening of fun (a no-host bar will also be available).
