LOCALS ONLY Deadline Extended to December 31st!

Every year the Ashland Independent Film Festival presents local films* for free to the public in our Locals Only program. Hundreds of people pack the theaters to watch Locals Only films—many of them from first time filmmakers!

*Eligible counties within the Siskiyou region are Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath in Oregon; Siskiyou and Del Norte in California
How to submit!

1. Create your film. Your film must have been completed after January 1, 2021 to be eligible for AIFF2022.

2. Fill out a Local Waiver Form.  This will automatically notify AIFF* of your request to submit a LOCALS ONLY film.  Once the form is received and verified, you will receive a LOCALS ONLY Waiver code allowing for your free entry to use during your film submission.  Should you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Lisa Greene, AIFF Programming Liaison, at entries@ashlandfilm.org

*If you don't hear back via email within 24-hours of submitting your waiver form, click here and fill out the pdf of our LOCALS ONLY waiver form, and then please attach and email entries@ashlandfilm.org immediately.  The online form has not been working consistently and we don't want your submission to get missed during this waiver process.
3. You will be notified by February 18, 2022 to let you know if you made it into the film festival!

If your film is selected:

1. You will receive 2 all-access VIP passes to film festival and filmmaker events.

2. Your film will be shown in the virtual festival April 1-10, free admission for all.

3.The Ashland Independent Film Festival treats you like a star!

See Local FAQs for more information.

Are you a Siskiyou Region student (K-12 or college) with a film under 5 minutes long?
