AIFF2021 Media Accreditation
Applications for Media Accreditation must be submitted by April 10, 2021. Late applications will not be considered.
The Communications Office does not normally provide complimentary passes to journalists seeking to cover the Festival but will provide vouchers for select films based on availability.
RETURNING JOURNALISTS
If you attended the 2021 Ashland Independent Film Festival as an accredited journalist, submit your AIFF2020 coverage by April 10, 2021 to communications@ashlandfilm.org and alert the Communications Office of your return.
If you covered the Ashland Independent Film Festival in the past but recently changed media affiliation, please apply as a New Applicant to this year’s Festival.
NEW APPLICANTS
New applicants are asked to submit the following:
- A letter of assignment from your editor on official company letterhead. This letter should include information on the type, extent and publication time of the planned coverage.
- A recent film festival or film-related article written by you with an attached byline and date.

One applicant per request form. If your outlet is seeking accreditation for more than one person, your editor may write a single letter of assignment; however each applicant’s name must be clearly listed.
All application materials must be submitted by email to communications@ashlandfilm.org by April 10, 2021.
After receiving your application, the Communications Office will review your materials. You will be notified, via e-mail, on the status of your request. If your application is approved, details will be sent to you stating how to obtain your pass and tickets.
The Communications Office reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation.
