Join us for AIFF2021 Part II: Live & Outdoors Festival

Five Days and Nights of Outdoor Events June 24-28



AIFF returns to live events with socially-distanced outdoor screening events in Ashland and Medford.


The year’s programming includes outdoor screenings, live music, food trucks, beverages, and more. In cooperation with Scienceworks Hands-On Museum in Ashland, viewers can watch films on our new blow-up screen in the field facing the building. (18+) In Medford, screenings will be held in The Outback at Walkabout Brewing Company. (21+)


Nightly Schedule (except opening night)

7:15 pm: Doors Open

7:30 - 8:30 pm: Live Music

8:30 pm: Introduction

8:45 pm: Screening Begins

Location: AIFF Film Center Window

June 24-25: Live animation studio in AIFF Window (11am - 4pm)

June 26-27: Live music and film performances (11am - 4:20pm, 20-minute performances on the hour)

Art Exhibition 

At the Schneider Museum of Art, AIFF co-presents an exhibition of contemporary Cuban visual and media art curated by Jill Hartz.

Collecting Cuba: Selections from the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art

June 26 (ScienceWorks): Weed & Wine with live music by Clayton Joseph Scott

June 27 (Walkabout): Havana Libre with live music by The Reverberays

June 28 (ScienceWorks): 20th Anniversary CineMasque: Hedwig and the Angry Inch with performances by Eddie Lopez and Bettie Wood, with special guests Christine Vachon and John Cameron Mitchell
