Synopsis
An emotional debate over a proposed uranium mill in southwestern Colorado — the first to be built in the US in 30 years — pits a population desperate for jobs and financial stability against an environmental group based in nearby Telluride, an upscale resort town. Uranium Drive-In combines a discussion of what constitutes sustainable energy in the US today with the personal stories of people directly affected by the mill. The film follows three main characters: Tami Lowrance, mayor of Naturita and strong proponent of development; Ayngel Overson, struggling mother of four who longs for the survival of her town but has mixed feelings about the mill; and Jennifer Thurston, an environmental activist fighting to stop the project. This character-driven story offers no easy answers but aims instead to highlight the personal experiences behind this nuanced and complex issue.

Synopsis
Travel US Highway 127 from Michigan to Alabama during four days in the first week of August, and you’ll explore the world’s longest yard sale, an annual event now in its 26th year. Here we encounter the colorful people and the objects they buy and sell, as well as the stories they tell of love, loss, renewal, and nostalgia, weaving a tapestry of humanity and American culture. And of course, there’s an Elvis impersonator too...
